Happy Thanksgiving! I know, we're a little late to the party, but we just wanted to share this article about our thanksgiving party here at Outpost a few weeks ago. For all members who stayed in New York City for Thanksgiving, Outpost Club really tried to create a sense of family and tradition. This is what happened! 

While many of our members went home to be with their families this Thanksgiving, not everyone was able to do so. And a lot of our international members were interested in experiencing what this America holiday was like. Having heard about this, we knew it would be a great opportunity to have an event on a day that everyone has off!

Our lovely house leaders that stayed in New York for holiday ran the show. In the morning, everyone woke up super early to meet up at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Most of our members had never been to the parade, so it's clear to see their excitement in the pictures below.

Then, later in the afternoon, the members went back to the Ridgewood and Knickerbocker House, and had Thanksgiving dinners! Outpost Club provided many of the mainstays (turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie) while members were encouraged to bring their own dishes as well. In the end, our members' bellies were full and a true American Thanksgiving was a success!
