Saturday Night Latin Fever With Outpost Club

"What kind of activities are you interested in?"

This is a question we often ask our members because ultimately, organizing events that can strengthen the sense of community among them is our utmost priority.
Over the course of last week their answers had unanimously been "a dance class". So that's exactly what we provided them with: a free salsa lesson.
"A lot of members were asking for dance classes," said Outpost's community manager Tacia Duarte.
"And I know some of the members from the Bushwick House have been going to salsa parties. So I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two," she added.
After about a week of planning, the amazing team we have at Outpost successfully secured our members a free hour-long salsa lesson that took place at Club Cache last Saturday night.

This was followed by an all-night Latin dance party where our members got to put what they learned into practice!
"Most members wanted to dance but they didn't know how to. So the class was a good excuse to make people go, even if they don't know how to dance," said Tacia.
16 members joined us, making the night another one to be remembered.
"It was good to do something different with the people you see every day," said Tacia. "And we had a lot of fun!"
The fun was definitely reflected on their faces, as you can see from the photos we took of the party. So go and check them out! Who knows, soon it might be you in the pictures.
