Press Release: Downtown Brooklyn House

The picturesque, historic neighborhood of Boerum Hill is now home to the eighth Outpost Club house! The recently renovated and exceedingly charming Downtown Brooklyn House is located in an easygoing neighborhood with great access to trendy spots for food and drink, independent shops, and is incredibly located to provide the quick access to the best neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Outpost Club will continue its practice of solving the big city housing problems for transient workers, digital nomads, students, start-ups, and newcomers in general. Located just six minutes from the F and G trains, and ten minutes from the A train, the Downtown Brooklyn House is a gorgeous four-story brownstone with complete interior renovations from updated wooden floors, appliances, and living spaces to provide a warm, contemporary feel. The home has 14 rooms and multiple common areas including living rooms, kitchens, and coworking spaces.
All, of course, is completely move-in ready - new members must only arrive at the door with their suitcase. Everything you could think to ask for in a new home is provided for you at Outpost. You can enjoy evening meals with fellow members in a fully stocked kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances, tables large enough to seat eight people, and routinely restocked kitchen essentials and dish soap. Set up for a weekend binge in the (co)living room where Netflix is available on the large 55” TV, and get to work in the coworking space where you can print, scan, and fax. If you ever find yourself in need of a little peace and quiet, or feel the opposite desire and want to host a huge barbecue, this house has the perfect scenic rooftop and spacious backyard outfitted with tables and chairs for whatever quiet moment or fun get-together you desire. There’s even a pay-per-use laundry machine within the home!
All rooms in the Downtown Brooklyn House are private, and each room comes with memory foam mattresses, pillows, extension cords, shelving, hooks, bed linens, and towels. Some of these rooms have en suite bathrooms, although these and the common full bathrooms throughout the house come with constantly restocked toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and hairdryers.
Membership with Outpost Club is a flexible, month-to-month commitment that does not require extensive documents, large deposits, or guarantors, but the longer the commitment the better the price. Private rooms at the Downtown Brooklyn House start at $2290.
Outpost Club was founded in 2016 by a team who knows what it is like to move to new places and start from scratch. Built on the foundational belief that renting a room should be as easy as buying a cup of coffee, Outpost founders developed a process to make it incredibly easy to move to New York - no scams, hidden fees, startup costs, or massive security deposits. It’s Outpost Club’s mission to provide more than a place to live and work - move in with Outpost and you’ll gain an instant community with opportunities to socialize, network, and grow, all in beautiful and convenient houses at affordable prices.
