Outpost Celebrates Tacia's Birthday With A City Crawl

What do you do when your best friend's birthday falls on a weekend?

You party it up of course! Well, at least that's how we, at the Outpost Club, celebrated our member and awesome community manager Tacia Duarte's birthday last Saturday. With a bar crawl around NYC.

The event was planned by our responsible, yet fun house leaders from East Bushwick, Karisa Desjardins, and Ridgewood's Talia Simpson.

As per the usual, they informed all our members of the plan through the houses' respective Facebook groups. And the adventure began soon after.

The gang at 123 Burger Shot Beer

We started off with $1 burgers, $2 shots, and $3 beers at 123 Burger Shot Beer pub that is located between the 50th and 51st street.

Because what's a better way to jumpstart a party, than to loosen yourself up with cheap snacks and "energy drinks", right?

The pub's chilled and casual ambiance, accompanied by musical hits that ranged from Britney Spears' "Hit Me Baby One More Time" to 50 cent's "In Da Club", also helped set our mood right from the get-go.

After about a couple of hours, as the sun began to set, marking the time for dinner, we moved on to The Taco Shop in West Village for some margaritas and surprise, surprise, less than $4 tacos.

That was where we showcased our love for Tacia, by getting her a cake and a chorus of the "Happy Birthday" song.

The night ended on a bright note, and red faces for some of us.

So again, we would like to wish Tacia a very happy birthday! And a massive thank you to Karisa and Talia for giving our members another memory to be cherished.
