New Partnerships!

72% of Americans suffer from loneliness. 88% of people who move into new cities find it difficult to make friends. There are also those with plenty of friends but still find it difficult to meet people with whom they can share specific activities.
DownToDash has a solution for all of them! It is an app that connects people based on common activities, and now it is helping Outpost Club attract more people to our community, and connecting our members to each other.

Escape Room Party - April 6th
Imagine this: You're trapped in a room. But there with you are friends that can make you laugh your way out of any tense situation. Together you have to find a way out by solving a series of challenges in just 60 minutes.
Sounds fun? We thought so too! That's why an escape room party is on our agenda for this month. So join Outpost Club's team and let's help each other escape the room in record-breaking time!
Yoga and Snacks at BedStuy House - April 14th
Get those body working and prepped for summer by joining us at the Yoga and Snacks evening planned for mid-April.
City Bike Ride - April 28th
Let's go biking around the city. Besides the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sight of spring coming to live, you'll also get to have a laugh with your Outpost friends.
School of Rock BBQ - April 28th
Enjoy the sun while being serenaded by a talented group of musicians from the School of Rock! Our own live band event? Check!

Events Coming to NYC
Are you looking for something fun to do around the city? If so, check out these events that we have compiled for you.
International Pillow Fight Day 2018
The annual International Pillow Fight Day is happening at 3pm this coming Saturday (April 7th)! Plan a day out with your Outpost friends and take the pillow fight out of the House and into the Washington Square Park.
Be sure to bring your own pillow, but if you can't, just buy one at Mattress Firm’s NoHo store for $5. Money from the pillow sales will go to Mattress Firm Foster Kids Program, to provide foster children with enriching learning opportunities.
Tribeca Film Festival
Robert De Niro and co.'s annual Tribeca Film Festival is a must-to-do item if you're in New York. It casts a spotlight on local indie features, documentaries, and foreign films, among many others. The festival is taking place from April 18th to April 29th in Lower Manhattan. So be sure to check it out!
Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival NYC
Celebrate Spring by soaking in the beauty of the rare cherry-blossom at the Sakura Matsuri Festival NYC. There are also nearly 60 Japanese-themed events and performances planned for the festival. It only runs for two days, from April 28th to the 29th, at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. A tickets costs $30, but you can get it for only $25 if you're a student. Hurry up and get those tickets before it's no longer available.
Brooklyn Folk Festival
The 10th Annual Brooklyn Folk Festival is taking place on April 6th to the 8th, featuring over 40 bands, workshops, and film screenings.
If you're into folk and bluegrass music, this festival that will be held at St. Ann’s Church, 157 Montague Street, Brooklyn, is perfect for you.

Outpost Club Recommendation: Best Movies In Theatres
Movie lovers, there are a couple of new movies coming out next month. So let's make a plan for a day out at the cinema with your Outpost Club family! Truth or Dare
A popular drinking game takes a twisted turn in Blumhouse Production's Truth or Dare. The movie that is coming out on xxx follows a group of students haunted by an entity that won't let them stop playing, until all of them are dead. Will there be any survivor? Watch the movie to find out.

Outpost Club Recommendation: Best New Movies On Netflix
Sometimes it's nice just to sit back and relax after a long week of work. We get it. So why don't plan for a movie get-together at one of Outpost's houses? Get some popcorn, pizza, and soda, and enjoy an entertaining night-in with the other members. The more, the merrier! Here are some great movies that have received our thumbs up:

Scarface, starring Al Pacino, is another movie that has become a cult classic.

Seven Pounds

How Was Your March At Outpost Club?
Now we've covered what's in store for next month, let's revisit some of the great moments we've shared this month.
Saturday Night Latin Fever With Outpost
We kicked of the month of March with an hour-long salsa lesson. This was followed by an all-night Latin dance party where our members got to put what they learned into practice.

BBQ at Outpost
Outpost Club celebrated the last week of winter with a BBQ out in the backyard of our Bushwick House. Dozens of our present and former members showed up to mingle and enjoy the variety of homemade delicacies.
Karaoke Night
We know how much our members love to sing. That's why we organized a karaoke night that gave our members a chance to showcase their singing talent in the company of their Outpost friends!
We had also introduced three of our present and former members this month: Oose Koss, Giselle Carrozzi, and Srishti Tewari. Get to know them better by reading and sharing their stories.
