#MemberMonday: Kamila Costa
Meet Kamila Costa from Brazil, the house leader at our Ridgewood house and self-proclaimed cinephile.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I'm passionate about history, sociology, art, photography, music and cinema. (I'm truly a cinephile.) I like to meet new people, and learn about new cultures and the history behind the places I choose to go.
What's your favorite Outpost memory?
I already have a collection of good memories here in the Outpost -- however, if I have to choose one, I'll go with the first Outpost event that I went to at the South Williamsburg house: the s'mores event on May 4th. I met great people and had a lot of fun that Saturday!
What’s your favorite part of New York?
Wow, this is a hard choice ... But Brooklyn has my heart for sure.
What are you working on right now?
For now, I'm still improving my English, especially the writing part. My goal is to learn as many things as I can, especially in what is related to people, communities and socialization.
