#MemberMonday: Florencia Muñoz

This week’s #MemberMonday feature is Florencia Muñoz, one of our new house leaders and an aspiring psychologist. Florencia loves exploring the parks and bookstores of Brooklyn.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a psychologist who likes old-school music, films and books. I’m also an animal lover (especially dogs). I like to keep my life simple and uncomplicated and I try to enjoy every moment. I’m studying for my GRE and I’m also a house leader at Outpost, which is really fun.
What's your favorite Outpost memory?
I met my best friend this summer here at the Bed-Stuy house. I’ve had so many great times with the people at Outpost, it’s hard to pick just one.
What’s your favorite part of New York?
I really love Clinton Hill. It’s full of parks and I like walking and sightseeing at the same time. There are plenty of doggie parks which makes up for the fact that I can’t have a dog myself here in NYC. I also love discovering used bookstores in Brooklyn; it’s a great place to explore.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on being a good house leader and providing a good service with new guests. Besides that I’m working on studying for my GRE.
