This week's #MemberMonday is Beatrice from Italy, a talented pastry chef and a member of our South Williamsburg House.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey! I’m Beatrice and I’m from Italy! I moved to NYC almost 6 month ago with a J1 visa program and I’m staying here until December!
What's your favorite Outpost memory?
Outpost parties, for sure! When I first got to NYC I was so scared because I didn't know anyone, but I immediately made friends here at Outpost Club! The people I've met here are my American family right now! We have so much fun and we’re making great memories together.
What’s your favorite part of New York?
DUMBO! I love art and I think the view of Manhattan by the water is the perfect setting to paint a picture. There’s something magic in the air, especially at sunset!
What are you working on now?
I’m working as a Pastry Chef at a restaurant in Midtown! I’m really dedicated to my job; I want to learn as much as I can while I'm here and this is a great opportunity to learn different techniques and flavors.
