Tell us a little about yourself

My name is Osée Koss! I am French, from the city of Lyon in France. I'm a freelance graphic designer. I also manage my own YouTube channel with a website about my passion for the Asian culture.

What brought you to NYC?

This is my third time in New York City! Every year I feel the need to return. I like to lose myself in the dynamism of the city, to seek inspiration, to meet new people with stories different from mine. For me New York City is the crossroads of the world.

What has been your best experience here?

This is a difficult question. Of course, the first time! I mean the first time of all things is extraordinary, but a first time in New York City is magic. Even the first burger!

What do you think of coliving?

Coliving does not fit everyone! I think people should really understand the meaning of the word. The willingness to share an important living space as a home should be a choice, and not a constraint. Everyone does not have the same lifestyle habits! Without sharing, without respect for others, coliving is impossible!

What has been your best experience in the time you have stayed with Outpost?

Every time we laugh together, it's a real moment of happiness! Whenever I learn something from another person is amazing! Each experience with Outpost is unique and appreciable!

One day I was not in a good mood and I was annoyed to have to wait to use the kitchen. I think my roommate noticed it because he apologized for making me wait, and he went to cook upstairs instead! (I forgot that in the Ridgewood House there are three kitchens). I felt really stupid, so I went back to him to apologize too, and we ended up cooking together! A lot of fun and we laughed at the situation
